Vishwanath Alluri (Vish)

Founder & Former CEO, IMImobile, Secretary, Krishnamurti Foundation India

Trained as a chartered accountant and having worked as a company secretary, Vish became a technology company founder. He began his entrepreneurial journey with a vision of harnessing India’s intellectual resources to develop intellectual property from India for world markets, founding IMISoft in 1988 — later acquired by a Danish engineering conglomerate in 2008.

He founded IMImobile in 1999 and, over the next one and a half decades, grew it into a global CPaaS leader with operations across more than 70 countries and a team of 1,200+ professionals. IMImobile listed on the London Stock Exchange and was acquired by Cisco in 2021 for $730 million.

His journey was inward as much as outward: he was deeply impacted by the teachings of J. Krishnamurti, which challenged and reshaped how he saw the world and life in it. He has been involved in work for the Krishnamurti Foundations worldwide since 2000 and, in 2014, stepped away from his responsibilities as CEO to dedicate himself fully to that work — disseminating the teachings, education of children and rural welfare in India.

Harry Eyres

Poet, Essayist & Columnist

Harry Eyres is a poet, author, essayist, journalist and arts writer, as well as one of the most eloquent advocates of the worldwide Slow movement. He contributes to many leading newspapers and magazines; his regular Financial Times column, ‘Slow Lane’, proposed a pause for thoughtful enjoyment of the pleasures and values which make life worth living.

He was introduced to the teachings of J. Krishnamurti by a potter friend in the 1990s, the beginning of a lifelong engagement — personal, educational and ecological. His first volume of poetry was published in 2001, and his memoir Horace and Me: Life Lessons from an Ancient Poet was short-listed for the PEN/Ackerley Prize in 2014. He was Visiting Senior Fellow at the European Space Policy Institute in Vienna from 2013 to 2016, and lives in London.
